Be sure the store tracks which arrangements sell so you know the styles people like most.
- Home Based - You could run the business completely from your home, taking special orders from individuals and businesses for arrangements. For this model, you will need some great marketing materials so others can find your business, see samples of what you can do, and feel confident that you will get the job done. Keep a photo album of all you different creations so you can flip through them with customers to help get the right style. You may want to work with bridal shops, funeral homes, party centers, and corporate businesses to get all the orders they generate.
Working as a flower arranger can be a very relaxing and pleasant business. You can find local community education classes that can teach you the basics of floral design, and then try your own hand at mixing in different flowers and styles to generate your own creations. This can be a part time or full time business.
